- Consume 20 to 30 grams of fiber every day – fiber helps keep the colon clean and can remove toxins from the body before they reach skin.

- Avoid dairy products such as milk, fat cheese and ice cream. Drink soymilk instead.
- Avoid highly processed carbohydrates like sodas, candies, and bakery – high carbohydrate products raise the level of insulin in the blood and increased level of insulin may increase levels of acne, causing hormones in the body.
