Diet against depression
This diet promotes improvement of an emotional background though she and will not solve all problems. It is recommended to use more products promoting development of a hormone of pleasure – serotonin, containing anti-depressive substances (folic acid, selenium and tryptophan), and also group vitamins B and vitamin E. There are: chicken meat and turkey, liver, fish (tuna, trout, mackerel, sardines), seafood; eggs; fresh milk and sour-milk products, cheese; vegetables: carrots, sweet pepper, green onions, tomatoes, peas, celery, asparagus, bush pumpkins; fruit and berries: bananas, citron, kiwi, black currant, cranberry; beans: a string bean, lentil; wheaten bran, nuts; seasonings: rosemary, tarragon, basil, oregano; dark chocolate; infusions of grasses: tutsan, mints, marjoram.
During diet period it is impossible to take alcoholic drinks, bread, aerated drinks, any fat food.
The approximate menu:
Breakfast:
- Soft-boiled egg, small loaf with cheese and parsley, sweet tea with chocolate (30).
- 2 breakfast.
- Fruit salad from kiwi and a tangerine with the yogurt, strewed by grated nuts.
Dinner:
- Turkey, stewed with vegetables in sour cream, salad from tomatoes and cucumbers with a cottage cheese and an olive oil, bananas with whipped cream.
- Mid-morning snack.
- Mint tea with jam from a black currant.
Supper:
- The trout baked with cheese, salad from a string bean and an asparagus, hot chocolate.
Before sleep:
Infusion of tutsan.
