CABBAGE DIET PLAN#5

Variant of a one-day cabbage diet for people who want to lose weight. The quantity of a used liquid is not limited.

  • Breakfast: carrots, cooked with apples.
  • Dinner: any cabbage soup or a vegetarian soup (as components for it use cabbage, potato, carrots, prunes, beets, tomatoes, onions) with addition of a small amount of sour cream (replace with cauliflower, stewed with field mushrooms, fritters from a cauliflower or stuffed pepper).
  • Mid-morning snack: 150 g yogurt.
  • Supper: 200 g of low-fat fish soup with cabbage.

Soup from a catfish and sauerkraut
200 g a sauerkraut,
2 lbs of a catfish,
1 pickle,
15 mushrooms,
1 red onion,
1 tbsp of flour,
1 tsp of vegetable oil,
5 peas of black pepper,
Parsley and fennel greens.

Slice mushrooms. Place them in pan; fill in 3.5 l of water and to cook to semi readiness. Onions clean, cut small and fry in vegetable oil. Flour fry on a dry frying pan to golden color and then dissolve it in water (small amount). Pickle clean and cut into thin plates. A catfish to cut small slices. In mushrooms broth put catfish, after 5 minutes add cabbage, cucumber, onions, and flour and pepper peas. To decorate soup – sprinkle with chopped greens.

Cauliflower cakes
400 g of cauliflower,
100 g of boiled sausage without fat,
3 eggs, egg whites and yolks separately,
50 g of wheat flour,
Vegetable oil to fry,
Salt to taste.

Cauliflowers slightly boil in light salted water, then get rid of liquid, and chop cauliflower. Sausages pass through a meat grinder. Egg yolks pound with salt, add sausage, cauliflower, flour and beat up whites of eggs. In a frying pan pour vegetable oil, warm it up and lay out the mixture using spoon. Fry cakes from two sides.

Pepper stuffed with cabbage and prunes
4 bell peppers (round one’s better),
200 g of cabbage,
50 g of carrots,
100 g of prunes,
50 g of vegetable oil,
30 g of green onions,
Sugar to taste,
Lemon juice,
Black ground pepper and salt to taste.

Bell pepper, not cutting, accurately clear of seeds, cautiously lower in the boiling lightly salted water and boil to softness. Cooked pepper cast away on a colander let the rest of water go away, and after it cools off, fill with meat, shred cabbage, add salt and grind to softness.
Prunes carefully wash up under flowing water. At once fill in with boiling water for 5 minutes, then remove stones and cut into little pieces with sharp knife. Carrots clean and rub on a large grater. Green onions cut small. All components connect, add salt, ground pepper, sugar, lemon juice, and fill with vegetable oil and mix.

Soup with Brussels sprouts and sour cream
200 g Brussels sprouts,
200 g of potatoes,
2 medium-sized carrots,
2 red onions,
1 tbsp of vegetable oil,
Sour cream and salt to taste.

Carrots and onions clean, chop and fry in vegetable oil. Potatoes cut into small cubes, put in a pan, fill in with boiling water, salt and cook for 3 minutes. Then add fried vegetables and Brussels sprouts salt and cook within 5 minutes. Soups decorate with the crushed greens and fill with sour cream.
