Drs. Rachel and Richard Heller’s weight loss plan
The diet is developed by the American dietitians Rachel and Richard Heller and also known under name “diet for sweetlovers”. It is based on gradual fading of thirst for carbohydrates, including to sweet. Any «snacks» between basic meals are forbidden, drink only regular or mineral water only. Duration of diet – 1 week, but can be unlimited.
The main principle: within day its’ authorized to have three high-grade food intakes. But two of them are constructed on consumption of low-calorie products (low-fat meat, fish, vegetables, dairy products). It is supposed, that emission of insulin thus decreases and the sensation of hunger becomes dull. In the third food intake all other products are OK, but, as thirst for meal decreases (under the assumption of authors), consumption of high-calorific food also will be much lower, than at usual way of life.
The approximate menu for first two meals:
Breakfast: buttermilk (1 glass), fruit salad (apple, tangerine, kiwi).
Dinner: fish broth with Brussels sprouts (200 g), boiled chicken breast (150 g) with stewed vegetables (300 g), natural plain yogurt (1 glass).
