Nevertheless, the given diet does not concern to medical though has the same principles. It is made up for healthy, but conducting a wrong way of life people. Its basic task – lower risk of cardiovascular diseases in the future. Including through weight loss effect which is one of risk factors.

For achievement of necessary result it is recommended to limit monthly within a week yourself in the use of some products, salt and sugar. It is forbidden to eat fried products, better to boil or bake them. Duration of a heart diet is 1-2 weeks.

The forbidden products and dishes: fatty meat, fish; meat products with salt in considerable quantity (bacon, ham, sausages, canned meat, smoked products); smoked and salted fish, fish strips, canned fish; soups, express food packages, bouillon cubes; tinned sauces, pickled vegetables, mayonnaise; margarine and cheese; chips, nuts and salted crackers; fat full-cream milk, sour cream, cream; fancy pastry, confectionery products with sugar in considerable quantity; strong alcoholic beverages, beer; lemonades, cokes and other carbonated drinks (except for mineral water).

Recommended products: lean meat, light meat of chicken, low-fat fish; skim milk and milk products with lowered fat or non-fat; any fresh vegetables and fruit, and also dried fruit; nuts and seeds; wheat or wholegrain bread and bread with bran; fruit and vegetable juices, berry fruit infusions, dogrose broth; sugar replacers in small amounts.

  • The approximate menu

1st day
Breakfast: cornmeal mush on milk with slices of fruit and sunflower and sesame seeds, orange juice (1 glass).
Lunch: soup from fresh vegetables with wheat biscuits.
Dinner: chicken baked pudding with unrefined rice and green steamed vegetables.
For the night: dogrose broth (1 glass).

2nd day
Breakfast: toast with a fruit spread, herbal or green tea with honey.
Lunch: sandwich with salad made of chicken cooked without skin, on wholegrain bread.
Dinner: a boiled trout with steamed vegetables and the potato boiled.
For the night: butter milk (1 glass).

3rd day
Breakfast: fresh fruit salad with a low-fat natural yogurt.
Lunch: salad from chicken with corn and cabbage with olive oil.
Dinner: macaroni with tomato sauce and sesame seeds.
For the night: dogrose broth (1 glass).

4th day
Breakfast: cereals without sugar with a low-fat natural yogurt.
Lunch: sardines on a toast from bread with bran, a fruit juice (1 glass).
Dinner: stewed chicken with crude vegetables.
For the night: herbal or green tea (1 glass).

5th day
Breakfast: fruit drink from a dried fruit (1 glass), tofu cheese 1 slice.
Lunch: vegetable burger with mashed potatoes, a vegetable juice (1 glass).
Dinner: baked pout strewed by greens with fresh tomatoes.
For the night: yogurt (1 glass).

6th day
Breakfast: porridge on milk with raisins, nuts and dried apricots.
Lunch: salad from lentil with sprout grains of wheat with olive oil, toast with cheese.
Dinner: noodles with sauce from low-fat sour cream and mushrooms.
For the night: butter milk (1 glass).

7th day
Breakfast: toast with cottage cheese and fresh fruit.
Dinner: baked potato stuffed cottage cheese, tuna and sweet corn, green salad.
Dinner: baked pudding from green beans with vegetables.
For the night: dogrose broth (1 glass).
