Low-carb diet
The main rule of this diet – to exclude all fats from a daily food. At the same time, the diet is not so poor in calories to leave sensation of hunger.
The approximate menu for day:
- Breakfast: small banana, 1 glass of milk;
- Lunch: 1 baked potato with can of a baked string bean (7 oz);
- Dinner: onion soup with a potato, chicken with brown rice, and 1-2 wholegrain toasts with fat-free crimson yogurt or fat-free cottage cheese.
What effect does this nutrition program?
Observance of a low-carb diet reduces risk of cardiovascular and other diseases. The diet is easy for observing, especially if avoid consuming of dairy products. The list of low-carb products is practically inexhaustible. Adhering to this diet you don’t need to count calories. The moderate use of alcohol is authorized. You may also eat unlimited quantity of vegetables.
What’s bad in such nutrition?
The long-term low-carb diet can cause a lack of certain fat acids in organism, paternal there can be various frustration (from infringement of a monthly cycle to dryness of a skin). These fat acids contain in vegetative and animal oils, margarine and nuts which are excluded from a diet. Therefore it is necessary to accept daily on a capsule of cod-liver oil and dogrose oil (only five calories).
Low-carb diets almost do not allow to organism to acquire necessary quantity of vitamins and minerals. Especially sharply their deficiency is felt, if you are pregnant. Therefore accept multivitamins.
Diet main objective – weight loss, instead of transition to right nutrition plan. For example, it does not exclude consumption of desserts with the high maintenance of sugar. Dairy products with the low content of fats very quickly bother because of tasteless. And as for those who cannot digest dairy products, do not even try to eat dairy!
