Saltless weight loss program
Table salt (sodium chloride) is useful and necessary for a human body. It is a part of blood, lymph, intercellular space and in general all cells. Thanks to table salt created so-called isotonic condition of corporal liquids which does a life of cells possible. Sodium and chlorine ions take part in all highest important vital processes. It is necessary to consume 5-8 g of salt a day – quantity counterbalancing loss of chloride of sodium, allocated with urine and sweat. Unfortunately, people consume much more salt, than it is necessary, sometimes even up to 30-40 g a day. It leads to delay in an organism of chloride of sodium and to occurrence of hypostases or increase of arterial pressure.
The Saltless diet excludes salt addition in food; salt arrives in organism only with products: meat, vegetables, bread, etc. Such strict diet is recommended in cases of chronic, neglected forms of illness. The diet which supposes minimum salting of food is more widespread and called salt minimal. If you are tormented only by hypostases sparing salt minimal diet might be better for you.
You may deceive the organism, replacing salt with onions, garlic, spices. For example, very juicy taste turns out when adding to soups, salads, meat and to fish dishes soy sauce, finely cut onions, garlic, chopped fragrant herbs.
Table salt should consumed competently: meat broth needs to be salted 20 minutes prior to end of cooking process, to fish broth add salt right after scum removals. Vegetables salt 5-7 minutes prior to readiness. String beans, peas are badly boil soft in salty water, therefore salt them when almost ready, 5 minutes prior to removal from stove. Fried potatoes salt at the very end of preparation. In crude meat and fish forcemeats add salt before cooking.
Minimal salt diet is very effective at adiposity:
1) all dishes prepared without salt. Slightly salt only ready food;
2) food intake – not less than 4-5 times a day, small servings;
3) leave table with feeling of easy hunger.
Admissible products: rye and white bread (no more than 200 g a day), soups on weak fish or vegetable broth, meat and fish of low-fat grades. Vegetables: cabbage, cucumbers, vegetable marrows, garden radish, string beans, tomatoes. Without restriction: potatoes, carrots, beets, fruit, berries, dairy products, fat-free cottage cheese, eggs, oil (no more than 10 g a day), tea and coffee drink.
When following minimal salt diet, these products are completely excluded: groats, pasta, fancy bread, sugar, jam, grapes, water-melon, bananas, spices, smoked products, pickles, spicy and sour dishes.
The Saltless diet – is addressed to people with the chronic form of diseases (cardiovascular system and kidneys):
1) all dishes prepare and used without salt;
2) food intake – minimum 5 times a day, small servings;
3) food cooks only on steam;
4) fried is completely excluded;
5) oil is added in ready dishes.
Recommended products: rye and white bread (not fresh! can be 1-2 days old), crackers, un-short pastry, dry biscuit, soups on vegetable or fruit broth, low-fat grades of beef, bird and fish, cereal porridges, dishes from crude and boiled vegetables, sweet fruit and berries, eggs (no more than one in day), fruit drinks, jelly, milk, cottage cheese, non-spicy cheese, tea with milk. The products rich with salts of potassium are especially useful: raisins, dried apricots, figs, potatoes, cabbage juice.
Products excluded: fried, fat and spicy dishes, smoked products, pickles, marinades, fish and meat broths, mutton, pork, goose, pastry.
The following variant of the menu of a Saltless diet is calculated for 15 days:
- 3 days chicken without skin and fat (breast is better) – 500 g within a day
- 3 days fish (non-fat grades) – 500 g within a day
